The poems in this book are beautifully written and touchingly suited to the unique lives that were been honoured. The authors have also helpfully suggested ways in which one could alter some of the poems to be used again. This is a real gem to have on my bookshelf.

Poetry for Funerals: A unique collection of inspirational poetry for funeral services: Sensitive, funny and damn useful to have on the bookshelf. It's really hard to step up in the difficult moments. Not everyone finds 'Stop all the clocks' to be the right fit for a larger than life character, nor has the creativity and sensitivity to pen something that people can connect with.The Authors have done that work brilliantly. Drawing on clearly years of experience as celebrants they have put together such a great collection, I was both kicking myself I didn't have it before and guiltily bookmarking poems for future occasions.If you are the kind of person that gets asked to stand up when it matters, do yourself a favour and pick this one up now. Guaranteed you won't need it until you really really do.

THE AUTHORS

Kate and Craig are a husband-and-wife team of funeral celebrants living on the beautiful Gold Coast in Australia. Originally from the UK, Kate and her family spent 15 years in New Zealand before moving downunder. There, she fell in love with Craig before finally settling down.

Craig is originally a Melbourne boy, but moved to the Gold Coast for the weather and family. Between them, they have four beautiful children, and family life is at the centre of everything they do.

Two years in the making, this book is the culmination of a long journey of writing, reflection, and creativity. Each page is a testament to Kate and Craig’s commitment to their craft, and to their unwavering desire to create a book that provides comfort and solace to those who have lost loved ones.
